Blackhawk over London 26/03/09 [Archive]

Did anyone else see what looked like a USAF Blackhawk flying over London yesterday? I watched it from my lounge (with a decent view) fly from over Battersea back towards the M4, then fly north towards the A40, then back to central London. There didn't seem to be any specific flight-plan, as it was circling for over 30 minutes..

A quick search pointed to there being a number of Blackhawks being based out of Northolt?

Possibly the flight has something to do with the upcoming G20 meetings?

Almost certainly connected with the forthcoming visit of the US President and I suspect that it will have been operating to a very precise flight plan.
