Just a quick question - What is American Airlines recruitment policy on recruiting foreign pilots??

They are not hiring just yet.
No shortage of qualified US citizen pilots in the US either.
Delta is swamped with applications. Have you already tried them?

As with every airline in the USA, you need to either be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to be employed (also known as green card). If you have the green card then you have an equal opportunity of being considered/hired.
The TSA rules are different since 9/11, so any non-US citizen may have to go through some additonal paperwork/background check. I think AA has over 1500 pilots on furlough so it will be a while before they hire. A company in Atlanta called AirInc has a website and magazine giving details on who is hiring. I believe the website is www. jetjobs.com or something similar. The head is Kit Darby. Do a search on these and you will find the correct link.
