While I have a week to myself at Narita I wish to pax at my own expense from Tokyo to other Asian countries. I wish to buy ‘normal’ confirmed tickets off a web site or travel agent, however I can’t find a Japanese website in English. I have look up many of the airlines but they very expensive, eg SQ website was off the scale at ‘full fare’ I suspect. Does anybody have any suggestions ????

I've used "No 1 Travel" - discount travel agents, and they were quite reasonable. Their Osaka telephone # is 06-6363 4489, and they have ads in the English papers from time to time. They do require cash/bank payment, not credit card.

Here is the site:

They do take credit cards but with an additional charge.

No 1 travel seems to be the most popular - probably because of their FANTASIC television ads http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/wuerg/vomit-smiley-014.gif Bobby you F:mad:wit
You could try one of the newcomres to the scene, Hit Travel

I understand their fares are also quite competitive.
