Airbus Type Ratings

Could someone give me the difinitive on whether an individual with a A320 type has to do a full Type rating on A340 or is it a CCQ?

It should be ccq but it depends on your airline/ aviation authority.

For most authorities it's a CCQ course, so should be less than 10 days or so. No authorities I'm aware of would make you do a full type rating.
