Hi guys, wonder if anyone can help?
My company is bidding on a short-term contract to supply an aircraft that the client requires must be registered in a JAA country.
We can get the aircraft re-registered easy enough, but the company are now certain that they must now employ JAA licence holders, leaving us with nothing to do. :ouch:
So is it possible to get a JAA validation for a short term contract?
Would the validation be issued by the JAA itself or a member state? Does it have to be issued by the member state that the aircraft is registered in?
How difficult is the process, and how long does it take?
What operational conditions (e.g. maximum 12 months only, not for operations in JAA airspace, must still have JAA licence holder on aircraft, etc?) would be imposed?
