PLEASE ADVISE

I have a CPL with 1200 hrs as P2 on 737NGs. There exists an option to apply as F/O onto A 340 in the same company where I work. If selected, the endorsement will take around 3 months. Am also appearing for my ATPL exams soon.

Would this be a good career move or should I concentrate on clearing ATPL and then wait for my command on the 737NG which could be 3/4 years away? Am still 26.

Seniors please advise.

Do your exams as quickly as posible to stop the rubbush which you have already learnt from escaping without being used on the way out. You'll have to do them one day, so do it earlier rather than later. As for other types etc., don't bother, there wil be other opportunities, I'm sure. But to be honest, the best person to give you advice would be your Chief Pilot/Fleet Captain. It's what he's paid for!
