Hallo.

I am a Danish B737 pilot who very keen towards a flying career in Brazil.

Is there anybody in here who is presently flying for either GOL or BRA, who knows how the employment situation is at the moment?

I am planning to pay these companies a visit in person, during the next few months, so any contact information etc will be very helpful.

I am currently working on the work permit, and converting the JAA license of mine into a DAC one shouldn’t course me too many problems. I will however be pleased if there is anybody in here who has first hand experience with converting a JAA license and Type rating, who’s willing to share the experience…

Please PM, if you prefer.

Kind regards
/BAP

The answer is painfully simple, if you are Danish then you won't be flying with any local airline for many years. You have to be a Brazilian national to fly for the airlines here. Not on a work permit, not as a resident, but a Brazilian national.

Sorry
