Hi
Ive had a look through the forum, but cannot find anything on BA and the SSP.
Just a few question for guys who have got onto the scheme.
What is the current standing with regards to pay?? Are you on 1 flat sallary or does it rise every year??
How are bases allocated are you sent where, your sent??
Finally the big question, do you enjoy the flying. Also what was your flight training back ground, if your on the SSP scheme you must have come from the likes of OAT or Jerez.
Thanks for the information, if you do not want to post feel free to PM and it will go no further
Thanks

BA SSP is exactly the same as any other pilot entry into BA, other than you take a pay cut stepped over 5 years - ie after 5 years you are on the same salary as a yr 5 DEP(@£54k + Flight Pay). You will be shorthaul initially, but after a 5 yr type freeze, you can apply for anything!

You can request either Airbus at LHR or 737 at LGW. However, it remains a request and BA can ignore it if they want. In order to be a SSP, you must have completed an Integrated course as opposed to a Modular course.
