Could someone comment on the procedures and difficulties in converting an Australian ATPL to a Bahraini ATPL?

It used to be a very straight forward exchange, Bahrain were on the Omani register and FAA, UK CAA and CASA licences were taken at face value.

fairly recently it was an AIP test, and medical, arranged by your employer, and a flt check...
Thanks for the replies. When will the new training/simulator facility be operational and are there any A320 Bahraini (Omani) examiners available for contract licencing purposes?

Think your employer has to sponsor you for the bahraini, or omani certificate.....
