Hi everybody,

I have an upcoming interview with a german airline, but there is one thing I would like to know before my interview;
Do professional german pilots use german technical terms during their work, or do they use the 'standard' english terms?
For example, do they use flaps, or klappen (if I'm right)?
Any german pilot who could give me an answer to this?
Already thx in advance!

Hallo Zündkerze (Hello Igniter),
usually we would use the english terms.

As for Flaps: they are "die Klappen"
