Could anyone who has just joined please give me a bit of info on the pension terms you've joined on? By pm if you want
Are you admitted to the scheme as soon as you join the college or do you have to wait until qualification/posting to a unit?
What sort of scheme is it for new joiners - final salary or money purchase?
What rates is it done on (fractions if final salary or employees/employers contributions if money purchase)?
I join in March and I'm off for a trip to a financial advisor in the next couple of weeks who would like to know this stuff. I would ask HR, but I'll probably get a quicker answer here ;)
