FreshAer?
Anyone have any more information about these folks?
The website www.freshaer.com is just a holding page for the moment but suggests an April launch.
The only news story I can find (which doesn't lack ambition) is a couple of years out of date:
http://www.castlebar.ie/newsetc/pressrelease.html
Meanwhile, a few weeks ago, the BHX slot filings for summer 03 showed multiple daily 757s to Knock, Kerry, Dublin,...
Of course many of these filings may disappear by the slot handback deadline at the end of January - but I'm curious: can anyone shed any light on how these folks are progressing? Good luck to anyone with the guts to dive into the low-cost arena these days...
Yours curiously

They appeared on the scene sometime ago holding slots for A.300 flights from DUB.
Pardon me if off track, but the word GUVNOR and the sound of false alarm bells ring out loud

I know that they have been in discussions for a while with BHX airport authority. Even they are a bit sceptical about the idea come on B757,s BHX-NOC and BHX - DUB.....ummmmm ....
MYT Lite daily A320 - BHX-NOC
FR x 3 daily B732 - BHX-DUB
Can't see it myself sorry to be negative, but please prove me wrong I will happily eat my words if it becomes a go-er
Happy New Year to all !!!!!!!

Just had a look in the Sabre GDS and FreshAer are showing as operating 4 flights per day MAN-DUB, 4 per day MAN-ORK and 2 per day MAN-KIR!
This pattern also seems to apply from BHX.
Be interesting to see if it does operate and how Ryanair respond to additional competition.
I must stop being a pessimist.

FreshAer, what ever next? Mind you, in my cage I do get quite a lot of fresh air and rain and it is free!
busterBair? What a cool name!
What a good idea, cabin crew can serve free sarnies and drinks, just like the good ole days of flying! We can paint our Jets dayglow brown, flight deck can dress up as Paddington and Rupert, the latter would have to be the captain! Flight plan call sign could be Marmalade?

Probably too early for Bears as well - Sorry Buster, I know you are awake with the larks!
Seriously though, it does make you wonder as to the viability of the planning.

I see that Freshaer have updated their website and look to be ready to launch services in May 2003.
www.freshaer.com
It will be interesting to see what develops.
