New Stobart airline?
Just noted "CTP (UK) HOLDINGS 1 LIMITED" on Companies House - incorporated by William Stobart (Deputy CEO of the Culina Group which owns Eddie Stobart) in February. Its stated nature of business is scheduled passenger air transport.
Another Stobart-backed airline, or just hedging their bets for the future? I'm of the opinion that, in the right hands, a slimmed-down Stobart Air could have survived the loss of the EI contract, with a few ATRs catering for ad-hoc charters as well as the increasing trend of carriers looking for locally-sourced ACMI (other than Eastern!).
Does anybody have further insight into what, if anything, could come of this?
