Its about £45k for captains and £25k for FO’s I believe which is only really appealing to locals who don’t want to move away and or people who already have wealth.
Not sure how anyone can survive on those wages over there without someone or something supplementing their income.
An FO I know who left a few years back only managed to put up with is because his parents sent him £500pm to top up his wages before he found something better.

One bright spot for them at BHX, is that not many pax lost to easyjet as they suspended their service after 1st June until 15 June.

BHX
The evening flight today is showing cancelled but a Blue Island aircraft turned up at midday on the 8.30am flight so perhaps they have bene combined them today but good that at least one flight has operated. What has helped is cutting the double daily Monday and Wednesday and the Tuesday service similar to Aurigny at BHX who have cut Tuesday and Thursday until July. Another ATR operator Emerald has also reduced BHX from 6 daily to 5 daily in the week and the service seems more robust.

Word on the street is that Emerald also have an ATR72-600 out of service being used as a Christmas tree to provide parts for the rest of the fleet. Don’t know if that’s 100% accurate but I guess when you have as many of them as they do, it’s easier to cover the impact of being one ship down than it would be for BI or Aurigny.
You have to wonder how much damage this is all doing to ATR’s customer base. Passengers won’t tend to see all of this, but if airlines aren’t making profits then they aren’t leasing or ordering new aircraft. It seems like the engine problems at Airbus and the production problems at Boeing are getting the headlines but there is a story every bit as bad unfolding for ATR operators with every UK airline flying the things impacted.
