There is a video from airside which makes it look as though there was fire in two locations at either end. Perhaps it’s an illusion, hopefully this wasn’t foul play
Report in the Mirror that a floor has collapsed in the car park

Seems the whole car park and drop off area is on fire. Car park is new but has no sprinklers. I can’t see how the airport can function without a drop off area. No dart either tonight. Oh and the best bit, despite a massive area in front of the Dart at Parkway it has no public access so can’t be brought into service.

Why is a drop-off area essential to an airport operating ? Perhaps just force all passengers to either travel by train to Parkway (and restore the shuttle bus service but at much higher frequency per hour) and/or offer a very high frequency bus service from Luton town centre ? Painful... but just thinking what might happen in non-standard circumstances

00;45 and I am still hearing major explosions
One half of the structure is fully involved in fire and the building has suffered a significant structural collapse,' the fire service said in a statement.
I suspect they will turn the mid term car park into a drop off area after they have shifted a few hundred cars and then make people walk through the tunnel for a long walk but that won’t happen straight away.
