Sheffield Loses ATC/ ILS
Its official!!
Sheffield Airport has now lost all its commercial traffic and is open only to GA private aircraft which must be multi engine. No singles!!
All 4 ATC operators were sacked/ made redundant this week.
The company which owns Sheffield Airport also has interests in Finningley. Theres a suprise!!
Perhaps Sheffield should have allowed singles after all. Then they wouldnt be in this mess!!

Shame that, there was a very helpful Indian Chappy there back in 2001 when I did my IR.
When you'd figured out what he had said, he was always very obliging.
