Cool Aer Lingus To Asia

There is a report on the Irish bulletin board of Aer Lingus starting a weekly Dublin/Helsinki/Bangkok/Hong Kong service for the winter.Anyone heard any more info on this proposed service or if you think the route would attract enough traffic.

don't know, but sounds like a codeshare with AY (Finnair) to me, as they fly this route (MD11) from HEL

agree with Wycombe, theres also not the market in ireland for this route. Hence why EI was gagging for membership of any alliance before the cycle turned down again. At the moment the offer connections with both BA flights ex lhr, but maybe an actual codeshare would be a good thing.
