Flights to YHM delayed sue to late arrival of Icelandair B752, now arrived in GSm colours and in operation. Things should settle down with the YHM flights over the next day or so. The first Neos A/C is due in a week or so, and this will operate the YVR and YYC flights. Other 2 B738s are due end of June 07. The 3rd B752ER will arrived in time to Operate the YHM flights freeing the GSM B752ER to operate the LPL-JFK flights.

That's not the only question remaining - I'd love to know how they are operating foreign registered aircraft in the UK without having applied to the DfT and CAA for permission to do so!

Their performance today on the EDB-AGP route is appalling.

8 hour delay for arrival at Edinburgh on the initial round trip, which, unless they draught in another aircraft, has to do the trip again. At the moment they are advising pax in Malaga that there is only a four hour delay to the evening flight.

Wait until the summer season gets to it's height.

Not seen this mentioned, released for ABZ for the winter is

Madeira - 1x weekly (Mon)
Malaga - 1x weekly (Sat)
Prague - 2x weekly (Mon, Fri)
Tenerife - 1x weekly (Fri)

The way it stands at the moment it's 2 aircraft needed as the TFS and PRG on a Friday clash.

I guess there are more flights to come to fill the schedule up? I would imagine Alicante and Geneva could be 2 possible additions, maybe even Barcelona?

Tenerife is no surprise, and Prague should do well - good days for the city break market. Malaga will be head to head with Monarch, although ZB have the better frequency

Maderia is the big surprise, a new destination for GSM. Thought they would have tried it out from GLA before ABZ

Hi, Flying from EDI to YHM on Saturday...on the 757 still registered to Icelandair. Wouldn't have thought they would have been operating this aircraft illegally.
On a side note, it would seem I'm going to be in for a bit of a delay myself!! The YHM arrivals board is showing today's Stansted - Birmingham - Hamilton - Birmingham - Stansted as being nearly 4 hours late!! Way to go GSM!

ABZ:

For W07 it looks like:

ALC - Thurs/Sun departures
PFO - Wed Departure
FNC - Mon Departure
AGP - Sat Departure (strange, thought this would be more frequency, as Monarch are on this route)
PMI - Saturday Departure
PRG - Mon/Fri Departure
TFS - Tues/Fri Departure

Going by the times there is still the possibility of a GVA service on Tues/Sun Evenings.

The route is in the system, but no dates available as yet.

Very good choice of routes for ABZ for W07.

Schedule back on track for the YHM flights now, and the delays that GSM have suffered over the weekend now seem to be drawing to a close with today being catch-up day.

Hmmmm,
On the Glasgow airport web site,
GSM826 from SFB due to arrive 13:15 on Sunday now showing arrival time of 20:53, some 31 and a half hours late.

GSM132A from YHM scheduled arrival 10:35, now showing expected in 15:05.

Saturdays Flight to SFB actually took off this morning at 1am.

At least the European flights are on time.

ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its about time that all you pprune posters on this posting stopped slagging off this airline. Do you not have something better to be doing? Do you criticise all the other airlines in the UK aswell? You are all very very sad negative people and you should all go out and get a life!
