MyTravel Djerba Summer 2006 - A/C Type?

Hi,

MyTravel Airways will be flying their new Manchester-Djerba route from next May, so I was just wondering which aircraft type they will be using. I would presume A320 or A321?

Regards

Seeing as MYT will only have Airbuses (maybe 1x 757 and 1x767) next summer you might be right.

Myt are due to have 1 757 at MAN next summer-as it stands- so you could be off to Djerba on it !

Hi,

Thanks for your replies! Sorry for my late response - I have been on a weeks holiday !

I am hoping it will be an A320 or A321 but for a brand new route, I would imagine an A320 will be operating it.

Thanks

Why?
320/321 is not the aircraft, in the configuration that MYT operate it, for this route unless you want to tech stop or leave half your passangers bags behind for a friendly 757 to take-especially in the summer!

Hi,

Why could an A320 not operate it?

The route is around 1300nm and the A320 can fly up to 3065nm with V2500s and 2850nm with CFMs? Correct me if I am wrong?

Thanks
