The cabin is going to be pretty impressive for a leisure airline!!!

Any ideas who's got the pleasure of bringing it in??

Yes very good.

33" in Star Class

36" in Star Class Premier.

But will it be cabin crew friendly?

I think it's safe to say 'FCA - The Daddys of Longhaul Charter'
This lot will blow away BY/TCX/XLA

The service and seats look fantastic, however my concern is that currently FCA sells seats on its longhaul flights to 3rd party operators such as Thomson, Thomas Cook and Airtours, but with the new Star Class flights they are only going to be selling these through in-house tour ops ie First Choice Holidays, Unijet, Hayes and Jarvis etc, and im not sure that they will be able to fill the 767 with just there own tour ops. If it is a sucess which i very much hope it is, i can see BY, TCX, MON & MYT following in there foot steps, but i think they will monitor it first. TCX may even go down the line of re-config the A330 to the 35" used on the B757 to East Canada. We will see.

I believe it will be a sucess, however they may need to start selling to third parties again,

the config is

195 - Economy

62 - Premium Economy

Which isnt that many.

Goldeneye, i believe its only the star class premium seats being sold exclusively to First Choice Hols pax, as is currently done with all flights on their 321's & 767's, so they only have 62 to fill in the upgrade, which should be easy with the service offered, and the standard Star Class are offered to all sharers.
Thats the current policy on FCA operate

Goldeneye is right - FCA longhaul flights are only being offered to FC group operators. Helps to improve the one brand experience.

cheers

Aircraft certainly tech at KK at the moment, but for some facts, aircraft brought in was not a sub charter but another FCA 763, finally got airborne circa 12.40.

Still tech at present.

As for the 'First Choice customers only', this is correct and actually booked up almost to capacity. 2 more 767s coming next year to cope with demand.

Thanks Silenthandover,
Blimey FC pax only on whole a/c, fair play, good to see at least one British tour operator doing so well in the market, just look at the profits posted a few weeks back - well done First Choice.
