New Routes and Services for Finnair Subsidiary Flynordic

Finnair Group subsidiary and Swedish low-fare airline Flynordic is planning to launch new routes next spring. The plan is to open routes from Stockholm to Dublin, Berlin, Munich and Tallinn (Estonia) in March 2005. Additional route plans include launches from Gothenburg, Sweden to Munich and Copenhagen to Tallinn.

"We have established our position in the Scandinavian travel market. Our concept is working very well and now is the time to launch new destinations outside Scandinavia," Flynordic President Maunu von Lüders said in a statement after the first year of operations.

Flynordic already offers flights within Sweden from Stockholm to Gothenburg, Luleå and Umeå as well as to Copenhagen and Oslo. Flynordic, which operates MD-82s. will have flown 600,000 passengers in its first year
