Easyjet Aircraft

Hi

Dont suppose anyone knows exactly what type of aircraft operate from each Easyjet base and how many they operate? Looking for data from this coming winter seasons

I know that Newcastle will have 6 737-700's based there but thats about it. Is Bristol an all 737-700 base?

Cheers

Kev

Thumbs up easyJet STN

easyJet STN will be all Airbus by end June 2005, first Airbus arrives in January 2005, should be twelve A319's in total and no Boeings

Easyjet at NCL

Also does anyone know if there are plans for any more Aircraft at NCL for early/late 2005 at all? If so will this be another 737-700 or Airbus?

Cheers

LPL is a mixture of 737-300 and 737-700 series. As far as I'm aware, so is Bristol.

Yes, BRS is a mixture of 300s and 700s.

There are currently six based aircraft but the winter timetable as published on the easyJet website cannot operate without a seventh overnighting aircraft - there are seven early morning departures (not counting those to BFS and NCL that are operated by BFS and NCL based a/c) and seven late evening arrivals between 2205 and 2305, after which there are no advertised departures until the morning.

However, I have heard no official easyJet announcement that they are to base a seventh a/c at BRS.

LPL will reduce from 8 to 7 based 737-300/700s in the winter programme

I have been studying the NCL Easyjet winter timetable and it only seems to work with 7 aircraft. Has anybody else tried making it work with 6?

On closer look it is 6.

There are some longer than usual turnround times towards the evening. Appears that this is usual for EZY as it happens at Liverpool as well.

6 seats taken out of A319?

I always thought it was a strange decision for a low cost airline to buy A319´s, squeeze 6 extra seats in and then require an extra overwing exit and an extra cabin crew member.

Either buy normal 319´s or get normal 320´s if you want extra seats.

But then, I´m not in management and I´m not British...

The CEO of easyJet isn't British either.

It did/does seem strange to put in an extra six seats and then have to provide an extra cabin crew member.
