Rolls Royce Donington Park Airshow (EMA)
This past Saturday Rolls Royce had a celebratory airshow centred at Donington Park next to EMA.
I guess it was quite a show as my sister (25) who lives in Castle Donington and can tell the difference between a 747 and a Saab 340, just. She sent me a text message excitedly saying "Big show at the park. Seen a jumbo doingstunts" - which made me chuckle at the thought.
Did anyone go? Did anyone get any digital pictures? Was it a show worth seeing?
I was away in London for the weekend, bit annoyed to have missed it.

did not go myself-too busy watching England beat New Zealand-but the programmed display looked worth seeing, and yes it did include the SAA display Jumbo!

I was delayed on approach in from RHO and so by the time we landed much of the show had already been and gone - however, saw a dog fight between two old aircraft with stunts out of this World. The glinting of the setting sun added its own strange 'firing' effects on the fuselages as the aircraft darted around the airspace over Donington.
I am going to buy tickets next time!!!!!

Got bored after a while - the 747 driver was a bit leery for part of his show, but most other stuff can be seen at almost any air show up and down the country this summer.
