PIA seeking approval for Spain and Scotland ops

Barcelona, Madrid and Glasgow are the three destinations that the airline has put forward to their BoD to approve, the routes are being sought in relation to demand from customers/market, PIA have been thinking of flying GLA and MAD since quite some time but Barcelona comes as a surprise, hope they get permission to launch them.

PIA are also seeking the same to relaunch operations to Turkey, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan dropped in 2000 and 2001 respectively.

Syria, Kenya and Tehran(they fly to Mashad in Iran) are also being evaluated for relaunching all were axed between 1997-99.

Houston in the US is another new destination thats to come on line next if approved.
