Flying an ultralight/microlight in botswana

hi all,

i hope someone can help me out.
im planning a trip to botswana probably in 2013-2014, not sure about dates yet.

i will be staying in gabarone but want to visit the victoria falls.

i am a pilot here in canada and i would like to fly from gabarone to the victoria falls in a microlight or an ultralight, prefferably a trike, microlight.

is there somwhere in or near gabarone where i could rent a microlight for a week or two? i dont mind driving around to get hold of a rental aircraft, and if there is a place where could i learn about the different rules and laws governing flying a microlight around botswana and into zimbabwe?

thank you for taking the time to read and reply.

Where are you in Canada?
I'm currently there and can give you a few pointers, tips, maps and runway guides of the okavango delta.
As for the microlight stuff... Not too sure if I can help you there. I know there is one or two of them in Maun, but they are private, not rentals.

craigs115,

1. Do you know about African wild animals in case of forced landing?
2. Do you know about African standards and quality control?
3. For the avoidance of doubt see link below from Victoria Falls:
