How on earth did that happen...?

It's almost as if they landed on a really wet runway with a tailwind!!!?

The wind sock is sort of like an extended middle finger. Nice paint job though. Has that Etihad vibe.

Runway’s 4199’ long, wet, tailwind, it all adds up to an overrun. A perfect landing, on speed, both TRs, should have made it; but it’d never a legal factored runway. Under those conditions, even into the wind it wouldn’t be a legal take-off.

Not sure what is specifically "bad" about this place except that is was clearly not appropriate for this aircraft, especially in those conditions. The general surroundings of the runway were thankfully rather accommodating.

It’s not the airport that’s “bad”; it’s the operation

Strong echoes of many overruns:

USN P-8A at PHNG
Miami Air 293 KJAX
American 331 at MKJP
SWA at KBUR (x2)
